Key Responsibilities:

• Manage Inquiries: Respond to and collate incoming inquiries from customers, ensuring they are accurately entered into our online quoting system.
• Review Specifications: Carefully read and interpret product specifications to extract key technical details required for generating accurate quotations.
• Prepare Quotations: Utilise specialised computer software to prepare and present detailed quotations based on customer requirements and company standards.
• Office Administration: Assist with various clerical tasks, including sorting and sending post, filing, and maintaining computerised and paper records. Ensure that all office operations are executed efficiently and effectively.

Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) to effectively complete administrative tasks and collaborate with the team.
• Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally over the phone and in writing, with a focus on clear, concise, and polite interactions with customers and colleagues.
• Organisational Skills: Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic Technical Knowledge: A fundamental understanding of IT, mathematics, and geography will be beneficial in performing some of the technical aspects of the role.
• Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to approach tasks with a solution-oriented mindset, addressing challenges as they arise.
